Cucur Ikan Bilis (Anchovy Fritters)

  • 1 pkt (250 gm) #TAGPakUsu (Season Flour Mixed)
  • 1 pc Large Onion sliced or chopped
  • 1 fistful Anchovy soaked, rinsed and drained
  • 1 nos Egg
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • 2 pcs Red Chili or Cili Padi optional
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying


  • Combined and mixed all ingredients into a batter.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan.
  • Scooped ` tbs spoon of the batter into the oil. Fry over a medium fire.
  • Fry till both sides asre golden brown. Removed and placed on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
  • Served fritters on its own or with chili sauce.
