Cucur Ikan Bilis (Anchovy Fritters)

  • 1 pkt (250 gm) #TAGPakUsu (Season Flour Mixed)
  • 1 pc Large Onion (sliced or chopped)
  • 1 fistful Anchovy (soaked, rinsed and drained)
  • 1 nos Egg
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • 2 pcs Red Chili or Cili Padi (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  1. Combined and mixed all ingredients into a batter.

  2. Heat oil in a frying pan.

  3. Scooped ` tbs spoon of the batter into the oil. Fry over a medium fire.

  4. Fry till both sides asre golden brown. Removed and placed on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.

  5. Served fritters on its own or with chili sauce.
