Sayur Asam (Pressure Cooked)

  • 75 gm #IbuSegalaRempah
  • 2 2 pcs Corn (Cut into chunks about 10 pieces)
  • 4 pcs Longbeans (Cut 2 cm lengthwise)
  • 1 pc Brinjal (Cut into chuks)
  • 10 pcs Cherry Tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup Ground nuts (boiled till tendwer)
  • 1 pc Anchovy stock cube
  • 2 tbs Tamarind paste
  • 1 tsp Pounded Toasted Shrimp Paste (Belacan)
  • 100 gm Gula Melaka
  • 3 Litres Water
  • Bay leaves
  • Salt & Sugar to taste
  1. In a stock pot add water & corn, put to a boil for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients, simmer till vegetables soften. Add seasoning to taste.
  3. Ready to be served.
