How to Prepare Coriander Fennel Mix

Some of my recipes requiring the use of pounded Coriander seeds, Fennel seeds and Cumin seeds, to simplify my cooking I will prepare a batch of this spice mix and store them in air tight jar. It comes handy and cut down on preparing time.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 gm Coriander seeds
  • 100 gm Fennel seeds
  • 100 gm Cumin seeds

Instructions
 

  • Combined all the three spices in a pan.
  • With a low fire toast the spices. Toss or stir occasionally until they change colour slightly and you notice the aroma.
  • Turn off the fire, transfer the spices into bowl to cool.
  • Once cool, coarsely grind the spice mix and store them in an air tight jar.
